Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from your students' union team! In case you missed it, here's a festive message from your Full-Time Officer team: Christmas Message

We would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you, who has worked to make this year a little easier in whatever way you can. Be it as an Academic Rep, as a member of our forum groups, through volunteering or by simply being there for a friend. This year certainly hasn't been easy and it is the kindness within our community that has helped us through.

The students' union closes today until 9am Monday January 4th, but support will still be on hand if you need it during the Christmas closure period.

If you need free food or toiletries to see you through a difficult period, we're here for you. The Advice team will continue to facilitate the COVID support packages so please don't hesitate to get in touch. You can view our full support package range and get in touch via our COVID hub welfare page. Please note that the device team will be operating this service at a reduced capacity so if you're anticipating needing these services in the coming weeks, please get in touch now so that we can get support to you quickly over the break.

The Advice service itself will be closed until January 4th but please don't hesitate to reach out to any of the alternative services such as:

The Samaritans: 116 123
Papyrus suicide prevention (under 35s): 0800 069 41 41
Nightline Lancaster: im.lancaster.nightline.ac.uk/webim
NHS Helpline: 111

Central Supermarket will remain open but operate with special opening hours, please visit our COVID hub shopping page for details.
