A number of Student's Union services continue to be available to students during this challenging time.
Help & Advice
In light of the ongoing Coronavirus outbreak and suspension of on-campus classes, some services will now be facilitated by email including, the Welcome Desk and SU Advice services. These services will continue to operate during normal working hours (9AM-5PM Monday - Friday).
The Advice team are working hard to respond to all of your queries during this difficult time.
Central is now operating on reduced opening hours. From Monday, March 23, it will open Monday-Saturday 9AM-6PM and 10AM-6PM on Sundays and with new guidelines in a bid to reduce the risk of spreading Coronavirus, protecting both staff and customers.
We will be reducing the number of customers allowed in-store to 5 at any 1 time
FOOD BOX DELIVERIES
Central is also working with the university to put together essential Food Boxes for any students living on campus or in Lancaster town centre. If you're self-isolating or anxious about heading out, there is no need to leave your accommodation to buy food. Get Food Boxes delivered direct to your door.
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic in partnership with Lancaster University, we are setting up a volunteering network to provide practical support to on-campus communities.

The Officer Team
Just because you're in isolation, doesn't mean you have to feel isolated. The Full-Time Officer team have set up a Corona Community Facebook Group where you can share 'positive experiences together during these unprecedented times'. Over 1.6K members are already sharing share tips, ideas and support.

Our Living housing provider has put together advice and information for it's tenants during this time, which can be found at lancastersu.co.uk/living/coronavirus-information. Living will continue to offer full repairs, maintenance and cleaning services, but please note, the Living office is now operating remotely in line with government guidelines. As mentioned prior, The Sugarhouse regrettably remains closed until further notice.
Some upcoming events have been affected, you can find out which events are currently cancelled here.
Furthermore, all non-essential activity for student groups will no longer go ahead at the current time. This includes fixtures, socials, events, meetings, forums for student groups including; JCR's, PTO's, societies, sports teams, college teams, student media teams and volunteering.
