Himalayan Balsam Bashing - LUSU Green
Come along our next nature-volunteering session where we’ll be removing Himalayan balsam.
This invasive, non native weed shades out other vegetation, gradually impoverishing habitats by killing off other plants.
We’ll be removing the species by pulling or cutting the plants before they flower and set seed. This will help other species to thrive and to maximise biodiversity here on campus.
We will meet here: Lancaster University campus - MazeMap, near the entrance to Bailrigg House, at 2pm
