LUSU Green Restoring Aquatic Ecosystems Adventure
Join us for a hands-on and rewarding experience as we work together to rejuvenate a local pond at Morecambe Road Primary School! During this Pond Restoration Adventure, we'll focus on clearing overgrown vegetation around the pond's edge, ensuring the space remains vibrant and accessible for all children, providing them with a space to immerse in nature.
By trimming back and removing excessive plant growth, we’ll restore the pond’s natural balance and reopen the dipping platform for exploration and education. Don’t miss this opportunity to breathe new life into this aquatic ecosystem and provide an outdoor space for the next generation to enjoy and take care of nature for generations to come.
We'll travel by bus from Lancaster Bus Station. You will be able to get your bus ticket reimbursed by us for free. Exact details will be circulated in the days ahead of the trip.
