LUBDS Mock Comp 2024
Hello all!
This page is where you can book entry for Lancaster Mock Comp 2024, which will be done in union with Liverpool University's Ballroom and Latin Society. The event will take place in the Great Hall and will cost £2.50 for all members of Lancaster Uni! Please feel free to bring spectators, and remember that spectators can come and go and don't have to be there for the entire duration.
Make sure that you come prepared, ie. your hair is gelled and your makeup is on before you leave home. It will save a lot of stressing and faffing about on the sidelines of the Great Hall. Make sure to bring snacks and water. If you choose to run to the shops you may miss your event. If you have any more questions about, but not limited to comp dress, timetabling, rules or general advice then do not hesitate to contact a member of the exec or simply drop us a message on our instagram. We are a team and we want to help you, so use us!
Regardless of what level you're dancing at, remember not to stress! As my philosophy lecturer said recently, a tennis player that plays to win will always lose. But a tennis player that plays for the love of a playing a point will always win.

- Events run by societies, clubs, student groups and colleges may have additional terms and conditions. Please make sure you check your ticket details.

- Tickets cannot be exchanged, transferred or resold for commercial gain.
- The Students’ Union reserves the right to alter or vary the content or timing of the whole or any part of the event due to circumstances beyond reasonable control without being obliged to refund or exchange tickets.
- The Students’ Union cannot take any responsibility for any loss or damage to personal property brought to an event.
- There will be photographers, videographers and live-streaming on site at some Students’ Union events. By purchasing tickets you are accepting that photographs may be taken of you during the event and that these may be released into the public domain; examples of uses include, though are not limited to, publication on the Students’ Union Facebook page, Students’ Union website and our publications.
