Lancaster University Santa Dash for Defying Dementia
In close collaboration with Sport Lancaster and Defying Dementia, Lancaster University Running and Athletics Club bring you the Santa Dash!
This is a 3km fun run on Lancaster University campus, with all proceeds going to Defying Dementia. Every participant will receive a mince pie, Santa hat, and medal.
There will also be a Christmas-themed fancy dress competition on the day with prizes for the best dressed, so make sure to come in your best Christmassy outfits!
Defying Dementia will also be present on the day, accepting donations and talking to you about the amazing work that they do!
The run will begin on Sunday December 2nd at 11:00 AM with registration starting at 10:30 AM, starting and finishing at Lake Carter by the sports centre. Parking and toilet facilities will be available on the day, The course is fully marshalled and health and safety approved. Please arrive early for registration and a pre-run briefing.
Online entry is ONLY £5, with the majority of the fee going directly to Defying Dementia. Places fill up quickly so don't hesitate to get your tickets down below!
This event is for all ages and we encourage everyone to take part!
Whether you are walking, jogging or running, it is guaranteed to be a fun day out for everyone!
(Please note: Anyone with any pre-existing medical conditions must carry appropriate medication with them on the run. The decision whether or not to run is left to the discretion of the individual and they run at their own risk.)
