Switching Workshop 27th May 2023
We are happy to announce our upcoming Switching Workshop Day!
This event will be a great opportunity to learn more ways to switch roles while dancing and test out these moves in a social at the end!
When: 27th May, 2023
Where: Rowley Court, Lancaster
Ticket cost: £15 (Teaching + Social)
Social: £7 (£6 for concession)
Schedule for the day:
9.30-10.30 - Warm up lesson (Optional)
11.00-12.30 - Lesson 1
14.00-15.30 - Lesson 2
16.00-17.00 - Lesson 3
19.00-23.00 - Social with live music!
In the Warm up lesson, we will recap some moves that are going to be useful to know for the day, such as Lindy hop basics, swingouts and Charleston basics - So if you would like to come along but don't feel confident, you can still get involved!
The lessons will touch on topics such as, fundamentals of switching, how to communicate better with our partner and the music, advanced switching moves, musicality of switching, and more!
There will be limited number of tickets, so act fast!
We hope to see you there and can't wait to dance with you!
