Welcome to Take 2 Cinema!
We're Lancaster University's ONLY on-campus cinema and the oldest society on campus!
We're fully equipped with a digital cinema projector and 7.1 surround sound, allowing you to experience the film at its best.
You'll be able to come and visit us every week from Friday to Sunday, we may also be hosting special events throughout the week and these will all be advertised on our social media.
Doors will open at 7:15pm and the movie will start at 7:30 pm, giving you plenty of time to purchase refreshments and get comfy before the main event!
We show new releases alongside your favourite classics, giving you the chance to see your favourites in the cinema again.

- Unless specified by the organising group, all tickets are non-refundable.
- The right of entry is reserved at all events.
- Breach of conditions or any unacceptable behaviour likely to cause damage, nuisance or injury shall result in the patron being ejected from the premises.
- Unless specified, tickets are sold for an unreserved standing event.
- Tickets cannot be exchanged, transferred or resold for commercial gain.
- The Students’ Union reserves the right to alter or vary the content or timing of the whole or any part of the event due to circumstances beyond reasonable control without being obliged to refund or exchange tickets.
- The Students’ Union cannot take any responsibility for any loss or damage to personal property brought to an event.
- There will be photographers, videographers and live-streaming on site at some Students’ Union events.
