Your role:

  • We are looking for eight Team Leaders to support the successful delivery of the YHA Conference
  • You will be assigned to a group of 25 YHA’s who will rotate through a number of workshops and activities on the day
  • Your support will be crucial with group registrations, supporting the delivery of workshops, helping the YHA’s with a competition on the day and YHA e-learning registration
  • 2nd July (afternoon) Still to be confirmed – as part of the YST national programme for University students we will provide you with training to enhance and develop your leadership and employability skills, as well as prepare you for your roles during the conference
  • 26th September (9-4pm) – attendance and support delivery of YHA conference
  • You will receive kit and we can cover expenses if required
    • Expenses are included within the daily rate for all services provided, up to a 200 mile round trip or £50 return train journey. 
    • For any round trip over 200 miles the Youth Sport Trust will, subject to prior agreement, reimburse the Contractor for any additional mileage (over 200 miles) at the rate of £0.3591p per mile.
    • For any return train journey over £50 the Youth Sport Trust will, subject to prior agreement, reimburse the Contractor for any cost over £50. In this case athletes will be required to provide relevant receipts.
    • Additional incidental expenses such as taxi fares, overnight accommodation, flights etc must be agreed with relevant Programme Managers prior to attending. In this case athletes will be required to provide relevant receipts.  
    • Please note that accommodation will be booked by Youth Sport Trust in advanced for major events, camps etc.
