The Vice-President (Societies and Media) represents students in our societies and colleges and the work of media organisations associated or affiliated with the union.

Hey, I’m Shannon, a former Advertising and Marketing Management student from Lancashire (roses are always red). I am a proud Furnessian and if you can’t find me in Trev throwing darts, I’ll most probably be dancing with LUDanS… or eating Go Burrito.

As your VP Societies & Media, I plan to work collaboratively across campus, encouraging more and more students to get involved with everything the union has to offer, I want to increase the visibility of each student group through campaigns and social media outreach as well as work towards improving the welfare and team building training that our execs receive. I am so honoured to have been given the opportunity to shape and mould this new role with and for the benefit of you, our amazing students.
