Your voice

We’re here to fight your corner and make sure you get all the support you need while you’re at Lancaster.

Each year students elect six Full-Time Officers - the President and five Vice-Presidents - the most senior elected officers in the union. They work directly with the university to make sure your voice is heard and that students have a say in how the institution is run. Other part-time elected student officers cover all aspects of student life.

And if you need support during your time with us, our advice service is here to help with all aspects of student life – including your course, exams, disciplinaries, budgeting, health & wellbeing, and more.

Your college reps

Each year the undergraduate colleges and the Graduate College elect student representatives to represent them at college level.

The eight Junior Common Room (or JCR) execs and the PG Board are part of the students’ union and a crucial part of the Lancaster experience - we support these groups as they work to bring your college communities to life.

Have a great year

We hope that Welcome Week gets your year off to a great start. We can't wait to see you!
