Afghan Chocolate Biscuits
Welcome to the Baking Society!
Our first bake of the year will be Afghan Chocolate Biscuits, a traditional biscuit from New Zealand made up of butter, flour, sugar, cornflakes and cocoa powder!
This bake will be slightly different from the ones we will be holding the rest of the year as no membership is required and there is a discounted price of £1! This means that you can try out our society without paying our membership fees and decide whether you would like to continue.
Our bakes happen in one-hour slots, starting every 30 minutes, every Saturday in Fylde Common Room, just opposite Fylde Bar. We provide the recipe, ingredients, equipment and assistance, all you'll need is a box to take your baking home.
The tickets will be online from now until 11.59 PM on Wednesday the 9th of October 2019. Sign up early as spaces are limited!
To sign up, simply decide on the time slot you would like to attend and purchase your ticket.

Please be aware that if you wish to cancel your ticket, we may not be able to refund you as the ingredients for your bake may have already been purchased.

- Events run by societies, clubs, student groups and colleges may have additional terms and conditions. Please make sure you check your ticket details.
- Unless specified by the organising group, all tickets are non-refundable.
- The right of entry is reserved at all events.
- Breach of conditions or any unacceptable behaviour likely to cause damage, nuisance or injury shall result in the patron being ejected from the premises.

- Tickets cannot be exchanged, transferred or resold for commercial gain.
- The Students’ Union reserves the right to alter or vary the content or timing of the whole or any part of the event due to circumstances beyond reasonable control without being obliged to refund or exchange tickets.
- The Students’ Union cannot take any responsibility for any loss or damage to personal property brought to an event.
- There will be photographers, videographers and live-streaming on site at some Students’ Union events. By purchasing tickets you are accepting that photographs may be taken of you during the event and that these may be released into the public domain; examples of uses include, though are not limited to, publication on the Students’ Union Facebook page, Students’ Union website and our publications.
