Joint Weekend Lakes Trip with York
Hi guys,
This is the sign up for the lakes trip this coming weekend.
The weekend will involve a range of trips, partying, and getting to spend time deep in the lake district. The trips will range from grade 2 beginner rivers to higher grade rivers for the more experienced paddlers among us. As the weekend looks potentially very dry some of us may be doing some walking also.
The cost of this trip will be £35.50 to cover the cost of the bunkhouse, as usualy there will also be a cost for fuel and this will be added to the debt sheet.
Please bring:
- Swimware
- A thermal layer to wear under your wetsuit (any kind of synthetic top is fine, just not cotton), if you have enough bring a spare for the second day.
- A pair of shoes that you can get wet (please no crocks or flipflops, an old pair of trainers is fine)
- Spare clothes & towel - bring some warm clothes, enough for the weekend!
- Food/drink - snacks can go in someone's drybag or BA. Individually packed snacks like penguins are great!
In terms of food for breakfast and dinners, bring things that can be made fairly easily (e.g. with just boiling water). There is a kitchen but there will be a lot of us and im not sure what facilities are avaliable.
Unfortunatly there will not be enough beds for everyone so some will have to sleep on the floor, the beds will be given out in a first come first served manner.
