Lower Lune Beginner Trip 18/10/25
Hi guys,
We are running a beginner freindly river trip this Saturday (18/10/25). The plan is to meet at the boathouse at 10am to get kit sorted. We will then head off to a local beginner section of the river Lune near Kirby Lonsdale.
This trip is availiable to anyone with and up to date club membership, who has attended at least 1 pool session.
Please bring:
1. Swimwear
2. A thermal layer to wear under your wetsuit (any kind of synthetic top is fine, just not cotton)
3. A pair of shoes that you can get wet (please no crocks or flipflops, an old pair of trainers is fine)
4. Spare clothes & towel - bring some warm clothes!
5. Food/drink - snacks can go in someone's drybag or BA. Individually packed snacks like penguins are great.
Again, if you need to borrow some of the above kit, just message someone/the club.
You should hopefully be assigned a driver by Friday evening.
Please give at least 24 hours notice if you can't attend a trip, otherwise you will still be required to pay for fuel in the car you are assigned.
