Paddle and Pub 12/10/24
Hi everyone, it's almost time for our first paddle of the year on Saturday 12th. This will be a flat water paddle around on the river near our boathouse at Halton followed by a trip to Spoons in the evening. Whether you've paddled since you were born or have never been in a boat this trip will be perfect for you! A great chance to get to know everyone!
To come on this paddle we require that you have attended at least 1 pool session.
Please bring the following clothing with you, all other kit can be provided:
- Swimwear / clothes to get wet in (not cotton!)
- A thermal layer to wear under your wetsuit (any kind of synthetic top is fine, just not cotton)
- A pair of shoes that you can get wet (please no crocks or flipflops, an old pair of trainers is fine)
- Some spare clothes / shoes to travel in
- A towel
- Some food for lunch. (Sandwiches, snack bars, ect)
If you need to borrow some of the above clothing, just message someone / the club.
We'll be meeting at the boat house on Saturday 12th @ 10am to get kit sorted for everyone. You'll be added to a group chat with an assigned driver to sort out pick up before hand.
At 6pm we plan to meet up again at spoons in town for a catch up and chill.
Please give at least 24 hours notice if you can't attend a trip, otherwise you will still be required to pay for fuel in the car you are assigned.
