Due to very variable water levels at the moment, we haven't decided on a river yet. More details will be posted at the end of the week when we know a bit more about what the weather's doing. We will aim to run something like the Lune or maybe the middle Duddon - something that should be suitable for everyone. The long-range forecast suggests the rivers will be kept up quite high with a fair amount of rain forecast this week. If we think there is too much water for it to be safe to run a trip we may have to cancel - please understand this would be for your safety. If we have to make this decision especially as it may be a last-minute thing. 

Equally - if the rain doesn't come then we'll definitely be running a more, fresher-friendly trip as less water means it's a bit gentler.

Please bring:

• Swimwear
• A thermal layer to wear under your wetsuit (any kind of synthetic top is fine, just not cotton)
• A pair of shoes that you can get wet (please no crocks or flipflops, an old pair of trainers is fine)
• Spare clothes & towel - bring some warm clothes!
• Food/drink - snacks can go in someone's drybag or BA. Individually packed snacks like penguins are great

We'll be meeting at the boat house on Saturday (28/01/24) at 9am to get kit sorted for everyone. Early start as there's still some  Boat House Faff occurring lol.

You will be assigned a driver on Saturday evening latest.

Please give at least 24 hours notice if you can't attend a trip, otherwise you will still be required to pay for fuel in the car you are assigned. Fuel will be added to the debt sheet - details on how to pay back your debt can be provided at request.
