Defying Dementia Lab Tour and Talk
On Wednesday 16th March, the Defying Dementia Team are giving you the unique opportunity to go behind the scenes and learn about where our fundraised money goes. Meeting at 1pm in Furness Lecture Theatre 3, we will begin with some presentations from the researchers themselves to learn about the current progress that has been made in developing a treatment for dementia, and what is being done in the labs. We will then have some light refreshments. The afternoon will conclude with a tour of the Defying Dementia labs and research division.
We will hopefully be joined by Morcambe Gold members (who have selected Defying Dementia as their chosen charity to raise money for this year) and volunteers from the Defying Dementia shop.
You are all welcome to come along and entry is free, but please make sure you book your place as we are only able to accomodate 28 people. We look forward to seeing you all there!
