Well-being Box Delivery
We are almost halfway through the term and during these crazy times we are having, it is more important than ever to take care of yourself and your loved ones. We at the Defying Dementia Student Society are offering well-being boxes, filled with little feel-good items to help perk you up through the rest of the term which will be delivered to you by one of our exec or a member volunteer.
Boxes will include:
- Sweets and Chocolate
- Herbal Tea
- Colouring pens/pencils
- Design your own stress ball

Delivery will be available to Lancaster Univeristy students both on campus and off (please note: off campus deliveries only available to Lancaster University students with an LA1 postcode)
If you wish to purchase one of our boxes for yourself or a loved one, please follow these steps:
1. Select a box delivery (either on campus or off) or on campus collection
2. Please provide yours and the recipients contact details. We will use this to arrange a delivery time (if you are purchasing one for yourself, please put your details in both sections)
3. Please provide the full address of the recipient if applicable.
4. Add a special message (optional)
All boxes will be packaged, handed over and delivered whike wearing masks and gloves in accordance with Covid guidelines.
GOOD NEWS! We have extended the event by 1 week. Boxes are now available until 23:59pm Friday 13th November.
Boxes purchased BEFORE 6th November will be delivered 7th and 8th November. Bxes purchased ON AND AFTER 6th November will be delivered 14th and 15th November
All proceeds from this event will go towards the amazing research being conducted on campus, working towards developing treatments for dementia and other neurodegenerative diseases.

In addition:
- Events run by societies, clubs, student groups and colleges may have additional terms and conditions. Please make sure you check your ticket details.
- Unless specified by the organising group, all tickets are non-refundable.
- The right of entry is reserved at all events.
- Breach of conditions or any unacceptable behaviour likely to cause damage, nuisance or injury shall result in the patron being ejected from the premises.
- Unless specified, tickets are sold for an unreserved standing event.
- Tickets cannot be exchanged, transferred or resold for commercial gain.
- The Students’ Union reserves the right to alter or vary the content or timing of the whole or any part of the event due to circumstances beyond reasonable control without being obliged to refund or exchange tickets.
- The Students’ Union cannot take any responsibility for any loss or damage to personal property brought to an event.
- There will be photographers, videographers and live-streaming on site at some Students’ Union events. By purchasing tickets you are accepting that photographs may be taken of you during the event and that these may be released into the public domain; examples of uses include, though are not limited to, publication on the Students’ Union Facebook page, Students’ Union website and our publications.
