The BIG BAG - Sunday 01/05/22
Tickets for The Big Bag on Sunday 1st May, LUHCs attempt to collectively summit all 214 Wainwrights within a 24 hour period!
Includes minibus transport to/from Lancaster.
The Big Bag’ (Sunday) only tickets will be £15 and include a donation to our fundraiser and transport to/from Lancaster (Campus or City Centre).
We also plan to release a list of our planned routes a couple of days before the Big Bag, so if you want to organise your own hike to help our effort, you will be able to!
If you want to come and celebrate with us just for an evening, you’re welcome to! Please bear in mind that there won’t be any parking available on site for those that don’t have a full weekend ticket. We ask that anyone who wants to come for just part of the weekend makes a donation towards our just giving page (details below), however, if you want to stay overnight you must sign up via the registration form here: LUHC’s 55th Anniversary weekend. Registration closes on 24th April at 9 am.
Just Giving – We’ve had a fair few donations so far but are still a long way off our target of £5555. Keep donating and encourage friends and family to sponsor you for the Big Bag via the Just Giving page at LUHC is fundraising for The Lake District Search and Mountain Rescue Association!

- Events run by societies, clubs, student groups and colleges may have additional terms and conditions. Please make sure you check your ticket details.
- Unless specified by the organising group, all tickets are non-refundable.
- The right of entry is reserved at all events.
- Breach of conditions or any unacceptable behaviour likely to cause damage, nuisance or injury shall result in the patron being ejected from the premises.
- Unless specified, tickets are sold for an unreserved standing event.
- Tickets cannot be exchanged, transferred or resold for commercial gain.
- The Students’ Union reserves the right to alter or vary the content or timing of the whole or any part of the event due to circumstances beyond reasonable control without being obliged to refund or exchange tickets.
- The Students’ Union cannot take any responsibility for any loss or damage to personal property brought to an event.
- There will be photographers, videographers and live-streaming on site at some Students’ Union events. By purchasing tickets you are accepting that photographs may be taken of you during the event and that these may be released into the public domain; examples of uses include, though are not limited to, publication on the Students’ Union Facebook page, Students’ Union website and our publications.
