Lancaster tournament
This tournament is a great opportunity for Go players located in Lancaster to get familiar with the Go player community of the UK as well as potentially winning some prizes.
The event will take place at Lancaster university in the rooms Management School, floor 1, LT7, Management School, floor 3, LT12 (where the games will happen) and Management School, floor 2, LT9 (for reviews).
It will be a class B rated tournament using MacMahon pairing system and consisting of 3 rounds of 40 minutes + 10 seconds fisher time.
After the tournament the results (i.e. the winner of each game) will be uploaded in the BGA website and the EGD database where it will contribute to your EGF rating and provide you with an EGD PIN in case it's your first tournament.
The AGA rules of play will be applied. In particular komi for even games will be 7.5 and 0.5 for handicap games (unless otherwise specified). For more detailed information regarding the rules of play refer to the BGA webpage.
Registration opens at 10 and closes by 10:30, and prize giving will take place around 18:00.
The registration fee will be £15 with a discount of £5 for BGA members and a cumulative £5 discount for students. The registration fee for youths (under 18) is £5. To be paid in cash on the day.

IMPORTANT if you don't complete the entry form prior to attending the tournament we might not be able to attend the tournament at all due to lack of equipment.
