Itinerary:
Friday
- We'll be departing at 16:00 from the Hitchiker's Post on campus, for those unsure its the shelter/seating on the first roundabout as you come into the uni. (Put this into google maps: 54.010174090779266, -2.788569499848722)
- We'll get tea on the way, and will arrive at CHECC at ~21:00, ready to join the party!
Saturday
- Breakfast and dinner is provided by CHECC
- We will go caving in the Mendips, exact location TBC
- Party again in the evening
Sunday
- Breakfast is provided by CHECC
- We will go caving (again) in the Mendips, exact location TBC
- Head home ~17:00
- Arrive on campus at 22:00, put gear back in stores
Two breakfasts and one evening meal will be provided by the people at CHECC, but you need to bring your own lunch and snacks
You will need to bring:
- TWO SETS of 3/4 thin but warm layers of clothing, (eg thermals + t shirt + jumper) that you dont mind getting dirty or wet, we will be caving both Saturday and Sunday
- 4x AA batteries as spares for helmet torches
- A towel and toiletries
- Any medication needed
- TWO SETS of casual clothes for after the caves
- Two packed lunches
- Small snacks to take into the cave
- Sleeping bag (we are camping)
- Roll matt (we are camping :( )
We will provide all the caving gear required!
