Gaping Gill
Hello all,
This is an unconventional trip to Gaping Gill in the Dales!
Bradford Pothole Club is opening up Gaving Gill for their annual 'BPC Gaping Gill Winch Meet'. The only way to access the cave is by using their 98m BPC winch. The main chamber is 129m long and 31m high.
We will be heading there on the morning of the 2nd June and basically spending all day there. Should be a really chilled event but there is NO GUARANTEE that everyone will get a chance to be winched down as no prior arrangements can be made. Hence, ticket prices will just cover transport and you will be required to bring £15 in cash payable to Bradford Potholing Club.
No previous SRT experience/skill required as you are literally just being attached to a winch.
