Give It A Go!
We are running four 'Give It A Go' sessions in the first week of term so you can see if caving is for you!
Before you select this ticket, please be absolutely sure you can attend this trip as we have very limited spaces. We also kindly ask that current members of the society and those with previous experience allow freshers ample opportunity to book on to these taster trips!
Timings: 18:30 - 23:00
Kit list:
- 4 fully charged AA batteries
- Snacks in waterproof packaging
- Thick socks / neoprene socks
- Neoprene gloves (optional)
- Wetsuit (optional)
- Buff
- Many, many thermal layers
- Dry layers to warm up after the caves
YOU are responsible for your personal safety throughout the duration of this trip. You should also register for the emergency text service, by texting ‘register’ to 999 and following the instructions given. This allows you to contact the emergency services when you don’t have enough signal to make a call.
If the need arises, cave rescue can be reached by calling 999, asking for the police, then requesting cave recue.
