Vertical Caving Trip (17th October)
Caving Day Trip, suitable for most beginners, but some confidence in climbing will be needed as ladders will be used. Membership is required to purchase a ticket
We'll be departing at 18:00 from Slaidburn House on campus.
The time in the cave will be approximately 3 hours, but this can vary.
Return to campus will be approximately midnight.
You will need to bring:
• 2/3 thin but warm layers of clothing, (eg thermals + t shirt + jumper) that you don't mind getting dirty or wet
• A towel
• A complete change of clothes (including socks and underwear) for the journey back
• Small snacks to take into the cave (e.g fun size chocolate bars, small protein bars etc)
• Medication you may require
We will provide all the caving gear required! (oversuit, undersuit, belt, wellies, helmet and headtorch)
