YSS Hut SRT Training
Day trip to the YSS Hut in Yorksire!
We will teach you each component of an SRT (single rope technique) kit, how to assemble one and how to ascend/descend ropes in a controlled, safe environment.
Trip suitable for beginners, however, those that have been down at least one cave before will probably get much more from the training!
We'll be departing at 10:00 from the Hitchiker's Post on campus, for those unsure its the shelter/seating on the first roundabout as you come into the uni. (Put this into google maps: 54.010174090779266, -2.788569499848722)
Return to campus will be ~16:00.
You will need to bring:
- Gym clothes
- £3 in cash
- Snacks / Lunch
We will provide all the caving gear required
