YSS SRT training half weekend
We'll be leaving campus Saturday (town pickup possible by arangement) and heading into the Dales, when we arrive we'll show you some basic SRT, stay overnight and then put that into practice on Sunday. You'll need to be a member of the society on LUSU to come along on this trip.
The main ticket on LUSU only includes a space in the car + fuel contribution, hut fees (use of the wall + bed). You'll need to select an additional ticket from the "gear hire" event (https://lancastersu.co.uk/groups/lancaster-university-speleological-society/events/gear-hire) for any item of gear that you may need to hire, you will need to ensure that you have all the items required (SRT kit, oversuite, helment, wellies) if you do not hire one from the club you are agreeing to bring your own.
You'll need to bring your own breakfast, lunch, tea & snacks. There is a kitchen (with cooking equitment) at YSS which you're welcome to use. You'll also need to bring a sleeping bag and pilow, the beds in YSS are large shared dormitories with 4 bunk beds (8 people), the society will book everyone a bed but there may be other non-LUSS members in the dorms.

Cars are leaving campus at 1600, with town pickup possible afterwards. Note change in time! (it dosn't matter which ticket you pick - they are both the same). We can't easily merge them back together once they started seperate!
