Festival of the Arts
The Festival of the Arts is a celebration of the vibrant performing arts groups jointly organized by Acapella Society and LUSing this Sunday (10th March) from 4 pm till late at the LICA building on campus.
We have invited the diverse talents from the Lancaster performing arts scene to showcase their specialties for all to enjoy, from orchestras to magic acts to student bands to dancing and theatre. Various societies as well as charities will also set up stalls during the event to provide entertainment and a means to help those in need. There will also be games free to participate in around the venue, and prizes will be given out to the highest scorers (Stalls will be packed down starting at 6:30 pm).
The event will be held in the LICA building and features performances throughout the event. Whether you are looking to show support for the local talents or hoping to have an unforgettable weekend, we hope to see you there!
Tickets will remain available for sale online throughout the event.
Performances that may contain adult themes including coarse language, loud noises and explicit content will be held after 7 pm.

- Events run by societies, clubs, student groups and colleges may have additional terms and conditions. Please make sure you check your ticket details.

- The Students’ Union reserves the right to alter or vary the content or timing of the whole or any part of the event due to circumstances beyond reasonable control without being obliged to refund or exchange tickets.
- The Students’ Union cannot take any responsibility for any loss or damage to personal property brought to an event.
- There will be photographers, videographers and live-streaming on site at some Students’ Union events. By purchasing tickets you are accepting that photographs may be taken of you during the event and that these may be released into the public domain; examples of uses include, though are not limited to, publication on the Students’ Union Facebook page, Students’ Union website and our publications.
