Our first trip of the year!
We'll be heading out to Shepherd's Crag in the Lake District, for some relaxed climbing. No experience is required for this trip, although on the questionnaire it will ask you about your ability so that we can get an idea of the level of the group.
We'll be meeting at the Hitchhikers' Post on campus (next to the underpass roundabout) at 8:30am, and at Dalton Square in town at 9:00am. This trip will cost £10, as standard to cover the cost of the minibus and petrol. Please take a look at the kit list on the LUMC website to get an idea of what you will need to bring; you MUST bring a waterproof coat and suitable walking footwear.
Back-up plans for bad weather included suggestions of hiking in the area, ghyll scrambling, or heading to an indoor wall. We will contact you if the plan is changed last-minute.
