We are so excited to officially announce Lindy by the Lune 2022!
Here are the streams we have on offer:
Crash course: Has your lindy hopper friend been nagging you for weeks to join them in this amazing experience? Then this stream is perfect for you! It doesn't matter if you have no experience in dancing or you've done something before, you'll be able to catch up with the basics over a weekend! You can participate in multiple workshops taught by experienced teachers! THIS TICKET DOES NOT INCLUDE ENTRY TO THE SOCIALS!
Beginners: The beginner's stream is suitable for those who have started dancing within the last few weeks or months and want to put their dancing on another level with weekender classes! This stream is also a great idea if you haven't danced in a long time and want a refresher about the fundamental elements of partner dancing.
Improv and Musicality: This stream mainly focuses on learning to provide space for your partner and letting them express themselves as well as learning how to fill that space in a social dancing scenario. It is ideal for people who are confident in their lindy hop skills, but want to improve the synergy they have with any follow or lead for even smoother dancing!
Flash: This stream focuses on learning new and exciting lindy hop moves and techniques to integrate into your partner's dancing. It is aimed at people who have been dancing for about a year or more, and have a good grasp of the basic moves and technique. If you're keen to spice up your dancing repertoire this is the right stream!
All stream tickets include two evening socials on Friday and Saturday with live jazz music and a tea dance on Sunday!

- Events run by societies, clubs, student groups and colleges may have additional terms and conditions. Please make sure you check your ticket details.
- Unless specified by the organising group, all tickets are non-refundable.
- The right of entry is reserved at all events.
- Breach of conditions or any unacceptable behaviour likely to cause damage, nuisance or injury shall result in the patron being ejected from the premises.
- Unless specified, tickets are sold for an unreserved standing event.
- Tickets cannot be exchanged, transferred or resold for commercial gain.
- The Students’ Union reserves the right to alter or vary the content or timing of the whole or any part of the event due to circumstances beyond reasonable control without being obliged to refund or exchange tickets.
- The Students’ Union cannot take any responsibility for any loss or damage to personal property brought to an event.
- There will be photographers, videographers and live-streaming on site at some Students’ Union events. By purchasing tickets you are accepting that photographs may be taken of you during the event and that these may be released into the public domain; examples of uses include, though are not limited to, publication on the Students’ Union Facebook page, Students’ Union website and our publications.
