Edible Campus Action Day
The ECOHub at Lancaster University is currently bursting with life, but with many of our usual student volunteers away over the summer vacation, we need some helping hands with the maintenance of the site and its associated operations as it can get quite wild!
Join this Edible Campus action day at the ECOHub where you will be helping with anything from grow plan/crop maintenance, site maintenance (i.e. weeding, vegetation clearing), watering, and of course harvest. In return for your help you will get to take home some of our lovely organic produce!
Important info:
- No previous skill required
- You will be provided with equipment, including gardening gloves
- Please do bring along as mask as there are some buildings on site that you may have to enter
- If you would like, please bring your own refreshments as we cannot currently provide these unfortunately

- Events run by societies, clubs, student groups and colleges may have additional terms and conditions. Please make sure you check your ticket details.

- The Students’ Union reserves the right to alter or vary the content or timing of the whole or any part of the event due to circumstances beyond reasonable control without being obliged to refund or exchange tickets.
- The Students’ Union cannot take any responsibility for any loss or damage to personal property brought to an event.
- There will be photographers, videographers and live-streaming on site at some Students’ Union events. By purchasing tickets you are accepting that photographs may be taken of you during the event and that these may be released into the public domain; examples of uses include, though are not limited to, publication on the Students’ Union Facebook page, Students’ Union website and our publications.
