Green Lancaster Action Day - Sunday PM
What will you be doing?
At a Green Lancaster action day you will be involved in anything from general to heavy-duty site maintenance, facilitating of the grow plan by planting and propagating vegetables and harvesting when needed.
Please note that if you would prefer to attend an action day with less heavy maintenance work, centred on more social activities and the taking care of herbs and flowers, then you may prefer an Edible Campus action day.
Important info:
Please arrive 5 minutes before the scheduled time and meet outside the Ecohub barn. Suitable clothing (i.e something you don’t mind getting dirty and that is weather appropriate) should be worn however wellies, gloves and waterproof outer layers will be provided). Please also bring a drink/snack as we are unfortunately unable to provide these currently. Be aware that in accordance with Green Lancaster and the university’s COVID policy, face masks should be worn and social distancing maintained while on site.

- The Students’ Union cannot take any responsibility for any loss or damage to personal property brought to an event.
- There will be photographers, videographers and live-streaming on site at some Students’ Union events. By purchasing tickets you are accepting that photographs may be taken of you during the event and that these may be released into the public domain; examples of uses include, though are not limited to, publication on the Students’ Union Facebook page, Students’ Union website and our publications.
