Futsal Trials
Futsal is a rapidly growing sport in the UK that recently got introduced to Lancaster University (by the futsal club founder and former captain, Symeon Theocharous) and it is a fast paced and tactical 5 a-side indoor football game which heavily relies on skill, teamwork and tactics.
This will be the second year that our club will be competing in the BUCS League and Conference Cup, after having a very good first year of official competitions.
So we call every fresher and other students that might want to try the sport or want to get into the team to come down to the Sports Center on the following dates:
- Friday 7th October, 4:00-5:30pm
- Sunday 9th October, 9:30-11am
This gives you a great opportunity to join our team and represent your University and compete in BUCS and Roses!
We hope to see you there!
Note: We must refer that the first trials on Friday are compulsory if you want to make it to the second one, which will be a more selective one. You will be excused of attending the first one if you can't attend it.

- The Students’ Union cannot take any responsibility for any loss or damage to personal property brought to an event.
- There will be photographers, videographers and live-streaming on site at some Students’ Union events. By purchasing tickets you are accepting that photographs may be taken of you during the event and that these may be released into the public domain; examples of uses include, though are not limited to, publication on the Students’ Union Facebook page, Students’ Union website and our publications.
