Grizedale Welcome talk/Hog roast
Now you have moved in and met your flat, it's time to meet the people behind the hog.
At this event the college president will introduce the JCR as well as run you through a little bit of information about the college, then, the SCR will introduce themselves and talk about some more serious things! This will be held in George Fox lecture theatre, an area a lot of student will have lectures in during the next three or fours years. Just before the event is due to start the welcome week reps will come and get you, so don't worry about finding your way.
Next, the World (maybe) famous Grizedale Hog Roast will take place, this will give you a chance to get something to eat before the night activities begin. Don't worry if you don't eat meat, there will also be vegeterian and gluten free options.
