First Aid Crash Course
As Lancaster University's First Aid Society, we are hosting 3 crash courses over the academic year. Anyone is welcome to join these crash courses and you can enquire as to paying an an individual or as a group of people. If you would like to attend this crash course then as well as confirming this ticket, please message or email the society directly thorough our Instagram @lancasterfirstaid or through emailing m.saynor@lancaster.ac.uk.
The crash course is a great opportunity to learn and practice life-saving first aid skills and looks great for future opportunities! As a disclaimer, we are not allowed to give out first aid ceritfication but we can send out confirmation of attendance. Our crash course is 4 hours in length and is due to be hosted in Welcome Centre LT2 (although definitely follow our Instagram for any updates) on Saturday 23rd November, 10:00 - 14:00. We successfully hosted our first crash course earlier in this term and we have another crash course coming up in Lent Term.
During the 4 hours, we teach a wide range of first aid skills and knowledge before using our equipment to practice through different scenarios. First aid skills are such useful skills to have and you never know when you may need them! There will be breaks scheduled throughout the session and feel free to bring snacks etc (although no nuts please). If you have any questions then feel free to contact the society and we will be happy to answer your queries.
