Lancaster University First Aid Society

Description

We are a society that offers the opportunity to learn invaluable first aid skills as well as make great friends and volunteer your time to help others!

We meet on a Monday evening on campus where we learn valuable first aid skills such as CPR, head injuries, bleeding, triaging and so much more. On a Wednesday we cover first aid for the university's BUCS matches, usually rugby and football. This allows us to gain valuable experience and all members are welcome, no matter their skills.

Being a part of the first aid society is a great stepping stone into volunteering with St John Ambulance (SJA), England's leading first aid charity. We welcome existing members, and are happy to help anyone interested in becoming an SJA volunteer.

We welcome members at any time of the year!

We meet every Monday at 8pm in Welcome Centre LT2 A23.
