Lancaster University Farmers Market 

Delivering a variety of local businesses to your doorstep

You'll find everything from fresh produce to authentic street food and vintage clothing at our weekly Farmers Market, every Tuesday in Engineering Square & Thursday in Alexandra Square 10:00 – 17:00.

Run by your students' union, the market aims to increase trade for local, independent producers whilst strengthening links between the university and the local community. We promote the importance of buying local and (where possible) organic produce in relation to conservation of the environment and goods from local businesses to help the local economy thrive.

Pitch Prices

Pitches in Alex Square & Engineering Square start at just £30, payable at the students' union's Welcome Desk. 

Special event pitches (such as Roses and Freshers' Fest) are available from £50 depending on the event.
