Windermere Trip
🌄 Never visited the Lake District? 🏞️
On Tuesday of welcome week, the Motorsport Society will be heading to Windermere as a chance for freshers and members alike to visit the Lake District! Membership is not required to attend, so feel free to invite anyone who may be interested! 🏞️
For those who are fans of car photography, we will be snapping photos of some of the best and most luxurious cars around, with the best photo of the day being announced on our socials! 📸🚗
We will be meeting on campus in Alexandra Square at 10:00 a.m., meeting with the main group at Lancaster train station at 10:30 a.m. before catching the train to Windermere at 10:57 a.m 🚞. In Windermere, members will have the option of visiting Orrest Head Viewpoint overlooking Windermere and heading down waterside to harbour and beaches along the lake. We will be catching a returning train to Lancaster at 17:30 p.m. 🌆
More information can be found on our website and all attending will be asked to join the trip group chat, this is where key information and announcements will be shared. 🌐 We ask participants to be wary of the weather ahead of time and pack responsibly. Society trips are new to the society this year, varying in length and distance and will only be open to members to attend. These include weekend road trips in the UK, week-long international trips, and a trip to an international circuit over the summer. - Events run by societies, clubs, student groups and colleges may have additional terms and conditions. Please make sure you check your ticket details.
- Unless specified by the organising group, all tickets are non-refundable.
- The right of entry is reserved at all events.
- Breach of conditions or any unacceptable behaviour likely to cause damage, nuisance or injury shall result in the patron being ejected from the premises.

- Tickets cannot be exchanged, transferred or resold for commercial gain.
