🎄🎄🎄CHRISTMAS lancaster wall session🎄🎄🎄

Wear your favourite Christmas jumper or dress in red and green but let's invade lancaster wall with the festive spirit!! 
 

This trip is open to complete beginners! LancasterWall is a new bouldering gym that has just opened up in Lancaster! It is located at Unit 31, Lune Industrial Estate, New Quay Rd, Lancaster LA1 5QP BUK. LancasterWall is a fantastic place to go bouldering, with a whole range of grades and styles to play on, as well as a cafe with really good hot chocolates... It's also a great chance to meet members of your new favourite club :) We will probably end up going to spoons when we get back at ~10:30 for food and drinks, but if anyone wants to be dropped off on campus instead that's fine.

Most cars will be leaving from campus at 5:30 pm, please meet outside University House at least 10 minutes early so we can leave on time. If you can't make this, there will also usually be one or two cars going later at 6:30 pm.

Obviously, if you live in town, or have a bicycle, it may be a lot easier for you to make your own way to Lancaster wall, If you make your own way down to the wall for around quarter to six then I imagine the cars will arrive from then onwards. Please buy a free "I'm making my own way there ticket" if you don't need transport, just so we can keep track of numbers. Grace Dean will be running a walking bus from outside the railway station this week, please meet at 5:30 on Station Road (be warned there are 2 entrances to the railway station, she will be on STATION ROAD). Please do not walk home from LancasterWall alone, for your safety please walk back with at least someone else.

If you need climbing shoes, these can be borrowed from us, just mark it on the questionnaire when you buy the ticket.

The small ticket cost is to cover the price of your driver's fuel and car maintenance. If you are a driver please buy a free "driver" ticket, ask someone to add you to the driver's group chat so we can organise lifts, and make sure to fill out this driver registration form https://lancasteruni.eu.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_2ukA9QrzNqlpwXz , as well as the google sheet. 

It costs £7.80 (student price so bring your student ID) to climb at LancasterWall, however, if you factor in travel costs this does end up being cheaper than BUK! Please fill out the registration for LancasterWall if you have not climbed there before, in order to save us time queueing.

By signing up for this event you confirm that you will not attend the trip if:
-you have symptoms of COVID-19 (new persistent dry cough, fever, loss of taste or smell)
-you have had a positive test for COVID-19 or onset of symptoms of COVID-19 in the last 10 days before the trip
-a member of your household has had symptoms of COVID-19 or has tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 14 days before the trip
-you have been contacted by a contact tracer from the Test, Trace and Protect Programme and told to isolate in the last 14 days as a contact of someone with confirmed COVID-19
-you have returned from a country outside of the UK in the last 14 days, other than those on the exempt list
