We're going to head out on our first trad day trip on Saturday 26th October, cars will be leaving from University House at 8:30 am
We will be heading to one of the crags in the lake district, with a mix of singlepitch and multipitch climbs on offer.
There are different ticket types available, Climbers tickets are available to anyone, regardless of experience. you just need to be keen to climb!!
Competent 2nd tickets are only available to experienced climbers who can:
Belay on halves
Remove trad gear
Abseil without supervision
Coil Ropes
If you are unsure about whether this is you then either message Chris Morris or buy a climbers ticket.
As we are heading out into the lake district in autumn its important to come prepared so please adhere to the kit list:
You'll need to bring or borrow:
We aim to be an accessible and inclusive society, so please, please, please tell us about your needs, so we can help support you and enable you to make the most of the trip. Most of the crags we plan on visiting will take around 10-20 minutes of walking to reach, generally slightly uphill and on good paths. There are no toilet facilities at any of the crags
So people aren't forced to rush their questionaire when trying to buy a ticket (as has happened in the past), the questionaire this time round is a Google Form: fill it in here!
We'll chase you up to fill this form in once you've bought a ticket.
If you have any questions please drop Jonathan a message
