Lancswall 3/10/24
This trip is open to complete beginners! LancasterWall is a fantastic place to go bouldering, with a whole range of grades and styles to play on. It's also a great chance to meet members of your new favourite club :) We will be heading to spoons at 9.30 for food and drinks, but if anyone wants to be dropped off on campus instead that's fine.
Cars
All cars leave from campus at 6:15pm at University House. Please don't be late!!! We'll start running lifts back to campus from around 9, or when the first the first driver gets tired! Don't worry, we won't leave you at Lancswall if you got a lift there.
Walking bus
We'll run a walking bus to Lancwall from Alexandra Square (in front of the big screen) in case you miss the passenger tickets. Friendly members of the exec (look out for bright orange tops!!!) will meet you and help you get on the right bus. We'll then walk to Lancswall from town - don't worry, we'll show you the way!
Meet at Alexandra Square at 5:45pm, or meet at the train station at 6:05pm.
Make your own way
Obviously, if you live in town, or have a bicycle, it may be a lot easier for you to make your own way to Lancaster wall, If you make your own way down to the wall for around 6:15pm the cars will arrive from then onwards.
If you need climbing shoes, these can be borrowed from us, just mark it on the questionnaire when you buy any ticket.
The small ticket cost is to cover the price of your driver's fuel and car maintenance. If you are a driver please buy a free "driver" ticket, ask someone to add you to the driver's group chat so we can organise lifts, and make sure to fill out this driver registration form https://lancasteruni.eu.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_2ukA9QrzNqlpwXz , as well as the google sheet.
It costs £8.00 (student price so bring your student ID and your LUMC membership email) to climb at LancasterWall. Please fill out the registration for LancasterWall if you have not climbed there before, in order to save us time queueing.
