North Wales 24-26th June

We'll be running a weekend trip to North Wales from the 24th of June to the 26th, staying at the Caseg Fraith climbing hut in the Ogwen valley (which is a different place to our last north wales trip in february; you won't be climbing in the same place!), within walking distance of some of the best climbing in the UK. There will be cars leaving throughout the day on Friday and we'll return back in Lancs late on Sunday. When and who you're leaving with (along with more info) will be communicated closer to the date via email, but if you've any queries please get in touch.

Because this a large hut, to keep price down we'll be sharing with a handful of members of the Lancaster Uni cycling club, and members of York Uni mountaineering club, so there should be plety of interesting folk to chat to! Meals (veggie & vegan) are provided as part of the trip cost.
Despite this, this trip is still an expensive one and we understand that many of you may struggle to afford it. Please, please, please apply to our hardship fund, where we can organise anything from a payment plan to a significant discount for this event (or anything club related).

This is for all abilities; you don't need any climbing experience to come on this trip!

Kit list:
Sleeping Bag (We have a couple of spare sleeping bags, please get in touch with one of our gear secs Chris Morris or Jack Manfredi if you need to borrow one)
Rucksack / daysack (again, we have a few, so get in touch!)

Clothes to climb outdoors in
Waterproofs
Some warm layers (hopefully we won't need them!)
Hiking boots / trainers

Any climbing gear of your own, if you have any
Suncream
Headtorch (we have a few, get in touch!)
Water Bottles
Sandwich Box
Snacks (These will also be provided, but bring your favourite chocolate!)

Toiletries

Accessibility
Over the weekend, there will be the option to visit a wide variety of crags. These could be anything from single pitch crags with short, flat walk-ins (~10 mins) to bigger, more remote mountain multipitch crags where the approach could take around an hour, across uneven and steep ground. As such, we'll take time to choose appropriate crags for every group. There are however unlikely to be toilet facilities at any crags.
At the hut, we'll have a designated quiet room. Let us know about any dietary requirements.

Indicate any accesibility requirements on the questionnaire so we can plan according to and cater for your needs.
