This week we are heading to Preston wall!!!

This trip is open to complete beginners. Preston Wall is a fantastic place with loads to choose from like lead, top rope, auto belays and bouldering, there is something for everyone with a variety of grades and styles to play on, as well as a gear shop with lots of shiny kit.

Cars will depart at 6:15pm from outside of University House, and we usually head back late ish and then go to spoons if you fancy!

It's worth considering if you do not know how to safely roped climb, then you will be restricted to the bouldering (still a massive area like lancs wall). If you would like to learn how to roped climb consider coming to our beginner sessions on Wednesdays; please contact a member of the exec about this. If you can already competently roped climb that's great.

We aim to run a group warm-up and cool-down although at the beginning and end of the evening, depending on the space available in the wall. 
If you need shoes, please let us know on the questionnaire when you purchase the tickets. 

The ticket prive here covers the price of driver's car and fuel maintenance; you'll still need to pay entry to the wall.

We've negotiated a price of £8.00 entry at their student price, so bring your student ID and say you're with LUMC. Anyone with a punch card or membership can also use this here aswell. T
