Lancaster Womens Rugby Friends and Family 2024
As members, friends and family of LUWRUFC, we would like to extend an invitation to our 2024 Friends & Family Dinner. The Friends and Family event is a club tradition where we invite friends and family to join us in an elegant evening that celebrates the core values of our club; a primary one being competition for women and girls in sport. The money raised at our Friends and Family event goes towards the club’s Scholarship and Hardship fund where we aim to both provide playing opportunities for talented young female athletes and to increase participation in women & girl’s rugby by removing financial barriers to participation.
The evening will include a meet and greet, your choice of meal, and an evening of rugby and dancing and celebrating the club with those who mean the most to you. It is a great opportunity to introduce your families and/or friends to your rugby family here at university and a nice opportunity for the club meet your family too. In previous years, many members have highlighted friends and family as one of their most treasured memories within the club.

- Breach of conditions or any unacceptable behaviour likely to cause damage, nuisance or injury shall result in the patron being ejected from the premises.

- The Students’ Union cannot take any responsibility for any loss or damage to personal property brought to an event.
- There will be photographers, videographers and live-streaming on site at some Students’ Union events. By purchasing tickets you are accepting that photographs may be taken of you during the event and that these may be released into the public domain; examples of uses include, though are not limited to, publication on the Students’ Union Facebook page, Students’ Union website and our publications.
