VIRTUAL Santa Dash for Defying Dementia
VIRTUAL Santa Dash for Defying Dementia
The Santa Dash returns for the 4th year, with a slight twist, this year we are going virtual!
Brought to you by Sport Lancaster, Defying Dementia and Lancaster University Running and Athletics Club, complete the 5km distance in an activity of your chose between 1st-11th December (Under 16years can complete 3km)
To enter, register online here for £5, you will receive an event pack in the post including medal and a Santa hat.
All proceeds from the event will go to Defying Dementia.
Whether you choose to jog, walk, skip, row or participate on elliptical machine, all you need to do is –
1. Complete the distance using an activity of your choice
2. Take a picture of your tracker/exercise machine to evidence the distance completed
3. If entering the Fancy Dress competition, take a picture of yourself in your festive attire
4. Email the photos in to DASH.LURAC@gmail.com to register your results
5. On completion give yourself a big Christmas Cheer!

How much is entry? What is included?
Online entry is ONLY £5, with a majority of the fee going directly to Defying Dementia. We’ll post you a Santa hat and a participation medal! This is also your entry into the costume competition, with exciting prizes to be won!
Who can take part?
Anyone! We encourage adults to complete 5km and children 3km (Under 16years, to be accompanied by an adult). This event is for all ages and abilities and the great thing is you can choose to complete the distance outdoor or in the comfort of your own home.
How do I sign up?
Buy your ticket here (insert tickets link) Once registered, you will receive your event pack which includes a medal and Santa hat.
How do I submit my activity?
Send a photo of your tracker/exercise machine to DASH.LURAC@gmail.com between 1st-11th December to register your results.
To enter the Fancy Dress competition, send a photo of yourself along with the results. Winners will be announced once the event finishes from 12th December.
