We wanted to update LUSU Living tenants on our progress in obtaining and paying rent rebates for term three.  

Many of our property owners have agreed to some level of reduction. We understand your concern and the need to have these rebates confirmed as soon as possible. We are working as hard as we can to process them quickly.  

However, we hope you will appreciate that with 816 tenants and 126 property owners, this has been a lengthy and complex process, made even more so working under lockdown. 

Our work on this is very nearly completed and we hope to confirm the situation for each of our tenants by the end of next week. 

We understand that many students are facing financial pressures due to the ongoing pandemic. We want to thank all our tenants for the patience they have shown so far as we work our way through this for you.
