President
Are you a big-ideas person, a born leader with great communication skills? If you want to work on top-level strategy, be Lancaster’s voice in the NUS, and be our lead spokesperson on political issues, the President role is for you. The President is the Chair of the union’s Board of Trustees, a Non-Executive Director of our commercial services, and a university Governor.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead representative to the university and nationally
- Co-ordinate and support the Full-Time Officer team
- Liaise with the Chief Executive regarding union business and operations
- Lead the union’s work relating to postgraduate students
