We have been made aware that due to a technical problem, the incorrect version of the Articles of Association was published for approval in the referendum. The version that was published was the same one that had previously been published to students for feedback. 

It is important that students have the correct information to inform their decision when they vote on whether to approve the new Articles of Association. We have therefore taken the decision to stop voting in the current referendum. 

The correct version of the Articles of Association, including the changes made after the feedback from students was received, has now been published. Voting will open at 10:00 on Thursday 4 March. 

Votes that had already been cast will not count, and those who had voted will be able to vote gain. We will contact all of those who had already voted to inform them of the situation and encourage them to vote again. 

We are extending the voting deadline by 24 hours to compensate for the lost time. Voting in the referendum will now close at 12:00 on Saturday 13 March.
