Read on to find out how to know which Freshers’ events are legit so you can focus on looking forward to starting your uni life on the right foot!

Every year, events are advertised claiming to be ‘official’ Lancaster Freshers events - many of these are fraudulent, so don’t get caught out!

Your Freshers’ Week will be led by your colleges, delivered by our brilliant JCR volunteers and Welcome Reps who spend countless hours organising a huge variety of events to welcome you to student life at Lancaster. These range from cooking competitions and movie nights to bar crawls and club nights at our own Students’ Union nightclub, The Sugarhouse!

The best way to know what to look forward to is by keeping an eye on your College’s, The Sugarhouse’s, and, of course, our own social media pages. We’ll post all about our events there!

For example, this year we’re excited to be announcing our very own Official Sugarhouse Wristband!

This way, you are able to lock-in access to all the official Lancaster Freshers nights out without the worry.

Our Wristband gives you entry to ALL 9 Freshers and Pre-Freshers Events at the Sugarhouse, for just £22.99.

You can grab your limited release wristband now and secure your place at the party.

And remember, if an event is being advertised by anyone other than these pages, it’s best to assume it is fraudulent so please don’t spend any money or purchase any tickets, packs, or wristbands from these providers as you won’t be able to get that money back. But for now, enjoy the rest of your summer, and hopefully we’ll see you in September!
