On 4th July, you’ll have the opportunity to vote in the next General Election. You will be voting to elect a local Member of Parliament (MP) for your constituency. The political party with the most MPs, chooses who the Prime Minister will be. In the UK, we do not directly elect the Prime Minister or any other ministerial posts.
