Although we have little set in stone, the committee is working on lots of ideas to debut the team to students and staff at Lancaster University. These include informal socials, networking and career sessions, as well as collaborations with other popular societies (and more, so stay tuned).

What does BAME mean?
BAME stands for Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic [groups] and can be another term for people of colour (POC).
What are the BAME committee aiming to do?
We aim to engage, inspire and unite students of ethnic minorities through a variety of academic and social activities and discussions.
How can I get involved?
There are lots of ways to get involved in and support the committee:
I don’t identify as a BAME student – can I still be involved?
Yes! The BAME committee will have a specific focus on ethnic minorities at Lancaster, but we would love to see support from you nonetheless.
